examotion – Innovation and Vision

The RENESIS Technology is the base technology behind the examotion Developments. It features a flexible, stable and efficient, cross-platform framework for building graphical, interactive applications. The RENESIS Player and the RENESIS Rave are two applications built up on the framework. The RENESIS Player runs SVG and other XML-related content on various platforms (Windows®, Linux, Mac OSX®, Windows® Mobile®) and devices (Mobiles, Desktop). The RENESIS Rave Tool is the development and design platform for building applications based on the SVG Standard. It's philosophy, "Create once, run anywhere" is followed through the whole product line.

Standards are important. Their advantage is clearly in the way things are working. If you are using two applications supporting the same standard, you know what you can rely on without depending on any single commercial vendor. As standards like XML, (X)HTML and CSS have established pretty good, the SVG Standards is pretty unknown eventhough it might be one of the most important standards for the next couple of years. Having the power of graphics combined with XML, CSS and EcmaScript is an powerful team for any kind of applications, no matter if its a web- mobile- or a desktop-application. Our vision is to spread the idea of SVG, take care of helping the community growing and providing the whole set of tools and technologies required to do so.

To show our continious support of Open Standards, examotion has joined the W3 Consortium in 2008, helping in the development of existing and new standards.
